Introducing ATMs with Live Teller Assistance

Our new ATMs with Live Teller Assistance, also known as Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs), combine the convenience of a traditional ATM with the option to connect via live video to one of our tellers. This allows you to complete more complex transactions with the added benefit of personalized support.

What can you do at the new ATMs: 

  • No need for deposit slips - streamlined and simple
  • Deposit cash and checks
  • Withdrawal cash and select your bills ($1,5,20,50) 
  • Connect with a Live Teller when you need additional assistance 

Frequently Asked Questions: 

  • Q: How do I access the ITM?
    • A:Swipe or tap your Glacier Hills debit card for self-service or tap the screen and click "Talk to a Teller" to access your accounts.

  • Q: What types of transactions can I do with the ITM? 
    • A: ​You can deposit funds, make payments, withdraw cash, access your accounts, and make transfers.

  • Q: When is Live Teller Assistance available? 
    • A: Live Teller Assistance is available during regular business hours in the lobby and drive-thru. After hours, the ATM functions remain accessible for cash withdrawals and check deposits. 

  • Q: Can the ITM accept cash deposits in bulk?
    • A: ​Yes, the ITM can accept cash deposits in bulk instead of one bill at a time

  • Q: Do I have to enter the check amount for check deposits?
    • A: No, the ITM can read the check amount and will confirm the value with you.

  • Q: Can the ITM accept coins?
    • A: No, the ITM does not accept or dispense coins. If your check includes coins, the ITM will dispense the bills while depositing the coin portion directly into your account.

  • Q: Can I print an official check at an ITM?
    • A:No, the ITMs cannot print official checks. Please see a teller if you need an official check printed.

  • Q: Can Shared Branch/Non-Members use the ITM?
    • A: Non-members can only use the machine for ATM features.

  • Q: What denominations can the ITM disburse for withdrawals?
    • A: The ITM can disburse $1,5,20,50

  • Q: Can I get a receipt for my transaction?
    • A: Yes, the ITM will prompt you to select "Yes" or "No" before completing the transaction. 

  • Q: When are ITM funds available? 
    • A: Cash: Cash-only deposits have immediate/real-time funds available.
    • ATM: Chek deposits will have a two-business day hold. If a longer hold is required you will be notified.
    • Teller-Assisted Transactions: Check deposits will follow the same hold policy as in-person deposits. Your teller will discuss any holds with you.

  • Q: What will happen if I walk away from the ITM?
    • A: The ITM automatically times out if a member walks away without completing their transaction. To help prevent leaving your card behind, the machine will beep and display a message asking if you would like to continue. If you choose to continue, you'll need to re-enter your PIN.

  • Q: If I'm depositing a check but cancel the transaction, will the ITM return the check to me?
    • A: Yes, the ITM will return the check if the transaction has not been completed. 

  • Q: Will the ITMs replace tellers?
    • A: Not at all! These machines are designed to enhance efficiency by allowing our teller team to focus on addressing more complex questions while routine transactions are handled seamlessly through these new ATMs.
