Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is coming to online and mobile banking on February 20th. Here's what you need to know:

Q. What is MFA?

A. Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enhances security for online and mobile banking by adding an extra layer of identity verification at login - something you may have already encountered on other apps and accounts.

Q. What will I see the first time I login?

A. Here are the steps to follow:

Enter your Logon ID and Security Code
Select five new security questions
Confirm the phone number to receive your one-time code
Choose a delivery method (voice/text)
Receive and enter the code
Accept the Terms and Conditions
Access your account

Q. Will I receive a verification code with each login?

A. All users must complete an initial verification code to pair their device and account. You will not receive a code every time you sign in on the same device. You may receive a code when completing the following:

Changing personal information
Completing a large transaction
Logging in from a new device or location

Q. How can I add or update my phone number?

A. To manage your verification code delivery:

Go to Settings
Click Security and Alerts
Click Manage Verification Code Delivery
Add a new phone number or select your preferred option at login
