With every journey comes change.
It's been said that no journey is worthwhile unless it transforms you. We recently underwent our own transformation with an updated look. Beneath the surface, we're still the same Glacier Hills Credit Union you've come to trust with your financial needs.
As we embark on this new chapter with you, we're delighted to continue sharing the same path. Below is additional information that may answer some of your questions.
What does the new logo represent?
The new logo captures the essence of the previous logo and give it more purpose. By softening the mountain peaks from the previous logo, we remind our present and future members that life is about exploring. The path represents each member’s individual journey. As a financial institution, we’re here to provide you with the guidance, products and services you’ll need to begin your trek, then allow you to move forward at your own pace. The end result is that you will have reached your financial goals with Glacier Hills, your community credit union, at your side.
By adding the words “your community” to Glacier Hills Credit Union, we’re also reinforcing our commitment to the people of this region and establishing ourselves as a fully local financial resource. We live, work and play here, so our hopes, dreams and aspirations are the same as our neighbors. Together we can accomplish great things.
Why is “Own your journey” the new tagline and what does it mean?
“Own your journey” is a phrase that empowers you to take control of your financial destiny.
By definition, every journey has a beginning and an end, and you will probably take many different journeys throughout your lifetime. It may be a simple drive to a neighboring town, or it could be a much longer trip to a foreign country. But the impetus to take the first step has to come from a conscious decision you make yourself.
The same is true for your personal financial journey. You are in control of what short-, medium- and long-range goals you want to establish throughout the different stages of your life, sometimes making multiple journeys along the way. But you don’t need to travel alone. We’re here to set you on the right path, and we’ll always be available to provide expert guidance along the way, especially when course corrections are necessary. Now, you have the freedom to “Own your journey” and move forward at the pace that best suits you. In fact, let’s get started right now.
Has Glacier Hills merged with or acquired another financial institution?
No, not at all. Our decision to rebrand the credit union is a strategic one, driven by the simple fact that we’d like to expand our membership base. We believe that by presenting a more community-driven financial experience, we’ll be able to help a larger number of people as they become members.
Will I need to order checks with the new logo?
No. You can continue to use the Glacier Hills Credit Union checks you have now until you run out. When you reorder, your new checks will have the new logo.
Will there be any changes in my account statements or when I receive my statements?
No. The only change will be in the way the statement reflects the new logo and brand.
What about my Glacier Hills Credit Union-issued ATM, Debit and/or Credit Cards?
All current transactional cards will be honored until their respective expiration dates. At that time, you will receive new cards with the new logo.
Will branch hours of operation remain the same?
Yes. Our hours will remain the same.
Will any phone numbers or contact information change?
No. Our address, phone and fax numbers will all remain the same.
Will the website change?
We will be changing the URL of the website to GlacierHills.com because we feel it’s more user-friendly and easier to remember. The old URL can still be used and will automatically redirect visitors to the new address, but we wanted to let you know about the change so you don’t worry or get confused when you see the new URL pop up. In addition, we will be refreshing the overall look of the site to reflect our new brand image.
Wil l any of the staff or Board of Directors change?
No. You’ll still be working with the same helpful people.
